Personality ： Very female CLAMP protagonist. Kind and gentle to a fault but oblivious to intense emotions. Can be a bit childish however.
Description： Taimu is a very petite Midlander Hyur with peachy skin, ruby-red (R) and sapphire-blue (L) eyes and blue-grey hair with streaks of white. She often dons a similar blue-grey colored Convoker's robe and dark gloves with a pair of Ultima's Horns. Lastly white stockings and a pair of Eastern Maiden's boots finishes her look.

Daughter of a Doman Lady Warrior and a Mysterious Man hailed from an unknown land awakened from a coffin of metal, Taimu was born in originally at the heart of Doma just before the conquering of her homeland from the Garlean Empire in 1552. Her parents unfortunately died fighting for their country leaving their infant daughter to her grandfather. As a warrior of Doma as well he worried for Taimu's future and thus sent her away in secret with other refugees to Kugane where she may grow up without conflict to her upbringing.As time would pass, Taimu would grow up with her foster parents in Kugane awaiting letters from her grandfather and studying what little belongings and tomes that were saved left by her late father, learning the beginnings of the Arcane and her first carbuncle and constant companion, Emmy. Taimu would then spend most of her time reading and studying rather than interacting with children her age until she was officially an adult. By then letters from her grandfather would tell of a rebellion to take back Doma from the Empire and would soon come scarce in the upcoming days. Taimu, determined to join her grandfather and assist in the rebellion, prepared to leave her quiet life amongst the books she had amassed...only to board the wrong boat...It was however, not entirely her fault as The Echo had called for its Warriors and misguided Taimu to taking an altered path leading her to what she though was Doma...but actually to the coastal city-state of Limsa Lominsa of Eorzea. From there the naïve girl thought to simply take the boat back to resume her journey back home if not for fate's and her introduction of the Arcanist guild and and many, many carbuncles. It didn't take long for Taimu to become entangled in its affairs and learning many things that she didn't think to consider and much to her own disappointment, she realized she lacked the knowledge that books and tomes could not explain to her and felt unfit to help in a meaningful way.Taimu then became resolute, that while she currently was not ready to take on what she originally planned, but if she stayed in Eorzea and learned to better herself to help others she would gain first hand knowledge into becoming someone who could help and provide to others and her first steps into life as an Adventurer.

Description： Erichthonios is a tall, dark-skinned Ancient with salmon-colored hair, and red eyes. He wears the usual sophist robe that all Ancients wear but he wears a belt along his waist that has two crystals on it, one with the symbol of Mateus.

Son of Lahabrea and Athena, and a warder of the Asphodelos layer of Pandemonium. He aids the Warrior of Light and Themis in the investigation of the facility's mysteries.Erichthonios's father, Lahabrea, taught him how to cast aetherial shackles. All further education was overseen by the Words of Lahabrea, specifically by his mother, Athena, who was Pandæmonium's chief keyward. Following Athena's passing, Lahabrea took over the role, but the swiftness with which he assumed her duties, as well as a lack of apparent grief, caused strain in Erichthonios.After receiving permission from the Words of Lahabrea, Themis and the Warrior of Light traveled to Pandæmonium to investigate the loss of communications after an irregular aether was detected at the facility. Upon arriving at the Gates of Pandæmonium, they were attacked by Erichthonios. After he was defeated and regained his senses, Erichthonios said he had been separated from his fellow warders before being overcome with negative emotions, after which his memory was blank, revealing he had no recollection of the battle that just occurred. Themis revealed he was working for an organization under the control of the Convocation of Fourteen, and that he needed to make a report to them to determine a suitable course of action. Erichthonios pleaded with him to delay the report, as they would most likely give the facility up as a lost cause and simply collapse the space it existed within, killing both the trapped warders and the concepts. He instead wished to capture and contain the concepts, as well as rescue his colleagues. Themis agreed to help with containment, claiming that his investigation was not yet complete.They first contained the Hippokampos, a water-based monstrosity. Erichthonios explained that the reason for trying to save the Pandæmonium was to protect the work of his former mentor, Athena, explaining that each circle of the facility was overseen by a keyward. Erichthonios suggested that the other warders might have found safe haven with the aid of Hesperos, keyward of Asphodelos, and fled to the innermost circle, but the path was blocked by the phoinix. After sealing the creation, Hesperos revealed himself to berate Erichthonios for his foolishness and claimed himself a hemitheos─a powerful fusion of man and creation. Declaring to win Lahabrea's adulation with this form, he attempted to bind the Warrior of Light in arcane chains, though Themis acted quickly enough to dispel the magick and ensure their escape.Erichthonios was shocked by the revelation about Hesperos, and after revealing his parentage, decided to capture Hesperos to interrogate him. Upon Hesperos's defeat, however, he took his own life to avoid revealing any information. Themis took control of Asphodelos, but sensed a deeper presence within the facility that was blocking the way to the next layer, Abyssos. Erichthonios remained with Themis to maintain the wards in Asphodelos until they could better assess the new threat.Erichthonios would later learn the chaos in Pandemonium was caused by Hephaistos, a clone of Lahabrea seeking to carry out Athena's legacy. Erichthonios learned the truth of his mother intending to use him a vessel to become a god and made amends with his father. Like many of the Ancients, Erichthonios endured the Final Days with his soul divided among the Source and its reflections. On the Source, an Erichthonios' shard was reincarnated as Claudien.

Despite both being inexperienced lovers, Erich and Taimu have taken steady and clumsy steps into this blooming relationship together; focusing on communication, thoughts, and feelings for one another. Most canonical time spent together occur while Taimu is physically able to visit the past of Elpis and Pandemonium during the age of The Unsundered.

In-Game Lore and Fun Facts!

  • Taimu is currently 27 by the time of Endwalker! However she seems to keep a very youthful appearance which doesn't help her child like and naïve outlook and personality.

  • Emmy, or Emerald, is Taimu's first and forever best friend Carbuncle and has never left her side.

  • Taimu isn't picky with food but she is an avid snack eater and will always eat what she is given and will finish it.

  • Taimu has a fear of slugs and snails due to a yafemi nearly trying to eat her as a kid. Luckily the Sekiseigumi saved before she was actually hurt.

  • She has been seen eating Materia because she thought as a child they were konpeito despite now knowing they are not in fact konpeito.

  • Taimu is forbbiden from drinking coffee and alcohol due to events with her friends that caused them trouble.

  • If she calls a friend an older sibling, it's not because of their age, rather they seem more mature and adult like than her...or that they're just taller than her.

Creator Fun-Facts!

  • I started play FFXIV back in 2.0 just as the last raid to the Crystal Tower series was just added and players were at the height of raiding The Coils of Bahamut! During that time, didn't know that having a red eye would mean much until later after when I finally reached lvl. 50 and learned of Allagan lore it was the mark of the Royal Family. My friend would joke that Taimu was a lost princess but at the time I though that was silly and hand waved the idea as it seemed a bit impossible. During that time I hadn't written out a solid backstory for Taimu. The game however decided that Taimu was most likely a descendant, giving drops of lore that was related to Doma and the East and more so in the Summoner questline. So yeah, she is most likely related to the Allagan Royal Family! If you ask her though she probably says it's plain coincidence and simply hand waves the idea though.

  • Originally Taimu was based off my very first OC I wrote all the way back in the early 2000s in high school while playing Gaia Online. I wrote a whole back story and lore of a collection of man made gods created by a mad puppeteer and that Taimu would be the first created and would govern the laws of time and all the light had touched. She would be a strict and very calculating character which was VERY opposite to what her FFXIV depiction has created for it self. However there is some aspects of the original Taimu to this current iteration of her, but this one has become it's own character that I deeply love.
